Managing Form Submissions

Learn how to view and manage submissions from your lead capture forms, and how they become leads in your CRM.

Overview

Form submissions are:

  • Leads captured from your forms
  • Automatically created
  • Mapped to lead properties
  • Tracked in form analytics

Viewing Submissions

From Forms Page

  1. Go to Forms page
  2. Click on a form
  3. See "Submissions" tab
  4. View all submissions for that form

Submission List

See:

  • Date/Time - When submitted
  • Lead Name - Created lead name
  • Email - Contact email
  • Status - Submission status
  • Actions - View, edit, etc.

Submission Details

Viewing Full Submission

Click any submission to see:

  • All form field values
  • Mapped lead data
  • Submission timestamp
  • Created lead link
  • Raw submission data

Submission Data

See what was submitted:

  • All field values
  • Form field labels
  • Actual responses
  • Complete data
  • Nothing lost

Submission to Lead

Automatic Creation

When form submitted:

  1. Form data collected
  2. Fields mapped to lead properties
  3. New lead created automatically
  4. Status set (usually "NEW")
  5. Notifications sent (if configured)

Lead Properties

Form data maps to:

  • First Name → first_name
  • Last Name → last_name
  • Email → email
  • Phone → phone
  • Other mapped fields

Created Lead

Submission creates:

  • New lead record
  • All mapped data
  • Source set to form name
  • Status set to default
  • Ready to work with

Managing Submissions

Viewing Lead

  1. Open submission
  2. Click "View Lead" or link
  3. Opens created lead
  4. See full lead details
  5. Continue working with lead

Processing Submissions

  • Review each submission
  • Verify data is correct
  • Check lead was created
  • Follow up with lead
  • Update status as needed

Deleting Submissions

Note: Deleting submission doesn't delete the created lead.

  1. Find submission
  2. Click menu
  3. Select "Delete Submission"
  4. Confirm deletion
  5. Submission removed

Submission Analytics

Viewing Stats

Form shows:

  • Total Submissions - Count of all
  • Recent Submissions - Latest ones
  • Conversion Rate - If tracking views
  • Time Period - Filter by date

Analytics Details

Track:

  • Submissions over time
  • Which forms perform best
  • Peak submission times
  • Source tracking

Filtering Submissions

By Date

Filter submissions:

  • Last 7 days
  • Last 30 days
  • Last 90 days
  • Custom date range
  • All time

By Status

Filter by:

  • All submissions
  • Processed
  • Unprocessed
  • Status-based filters

Search submissions:

  • By name
  • By email
  • By any field
  • Quick find

Exporting Submissions

Export Options

Export submissions:

  • Download as CSV
  • Export all data
  • Selected submissions
  • Date range exports

Export Contents

Includes:

  • All submission data
  • Form field values
  • Timestamps
  • Lead information
  • Complete records
